Reusable Gift Bag (for teens and adults)

Class Description

This class has been developed for new sewers or sewers that want to expand their repertoire of techniques. Join us to construct a re-usable medium sized gift bag and learn how to do French seams, a boxed bottom and a drawstring casing. The kit is built into the class fee, and you will go home with instructions for the gift bag in three sizes. Your holiday gift wrapping will be a breeze and eco-friendly too!

Supply List

• Sewing machine in good working order with All Purpose Foot and MicroTex or Universal needle (bring your manual, all your accessories including your manual, foot pedal & power cord) 

• Good quality polyester thread; we sell Wonderfil Designer Poly 

• Fabric scissors 

• Basic sewing kit including straight pins and thread snips 

• Small quilting ruler 

• Hem gauge or sliding gauge ruler 

• Frixion pen or chalk pencil 

• Purple Thang, bodkin or large safety pin

• fabric included in class fee = ½ metre fabric and a fat ¼ or 0.25 m to coordinate and 2.60 m cord
