Sewing For Hope (in support of Quilts For Survivors)
Embellish is hosting a charity sewing event in support of Quilts For Survivors
Sunday, November 17th from 10:00am – 4:00pm
Sign up for 2 hours, or sign up to stay the full day!
Join us in supporting Quilts For Survivors! The event will be open to all who wish to participate – sewing and quilting experience is not necessary. We will have stations set up for cutting, pressing and sewing.
All machines, fabric and supplies will be provided by Embellish. Just bring your positive attitude and excitement for a great cause!
This event is open to all who wish to participate, ages 9 and up.
Participants are needed for: CUTTING! IRONING! SEWING!
Sewing and/or quilting experience is not necessary.
We will be creating individual quilt blocks, composed of squares. The blocks will be sent to the Quilts For Survivors headquarters, completed by their staff and distributed across Canada.
Please note: There is no "take home" for this event. All quilt blocks created will be sent to Quilts For Survivors.
