Drop Zone Zippered Tray

Class Description

Learn to make a multi-purpose zippered pouch which opens to create a shallow tray that provides great visibility and easy access to its contents. Use them to store and carry personal items or a variety of art, office, and craft supplies. Grab tabs make opening and closing easy. The optional hardware on one end may be used to attach a strap or other object. 

We will make the large size in class (3” high x 9” wide X 6” deep when open).

Supply List

• Sewing machine in good working order with All Purpose Foot, Zipper Foot and ¼” Foot (bring your manual, foot pedal & power cord and all your accessories) 

• Microtex or Topstitch 90 sewing machine needle 

• Good Quality Polyester Thread to Coordinate with your Fabrics (we sell Wonderfil Designer Poly Thread) 

• Basic Sewing Kit including straight pins, hand sewing needle, seam ripper, thread snips and fabric scissors 

• Fabric Marking Pen (Chaco Liner or Frixion Pen) 

• Rotary Cutter, mat, ruler 

• Wonder Clips 

• 22” Zipper or equivalent zipper by the metre with zipper pull 

• Optional – 1” D-Ring

• By Annie, Drop Zone Zippered Tray Pattern (includes 3 sizes)

• Required interfacing, flex foam batting and fabric for the large size
