Intermediate Collage
Class Description
In this class, we will construct a?Laura Heine Pattern; Laura Heine is the Queen of Collage!
Choose pattern trio A or B; each pattern contains a trio of 3 designs. You will be concentrating on one motif/wall-hangings in the class. The collage will finish at approximately 16” x 20”.

Supply List
NO SEWING MACHINE REQUIRED DURING CLASS
Irons will be set up in the classroom – no need to bring an iron
Light boxes will set up in classroom

- Teflon Pressing Sheet (will be demo’d during the class)
- Pencil, Pen or Fine Sharpie Marker
- Rotary Cutter and ruler for trimming
- Straight Pins
- Tweezers
- Sharp scissors for applique (we sell LDH craft scissors with a serrated blade)
- Fabric* for background, 18"x22" minimum (should be the full size of the project, can be pieced together or one piece)
*Optional: Pattern Ease foundation paper instead of fabric - Assorted fabric scraps to reflect your chosen collage pattern
Included in class fee: - Laura Heine Teeny Tiny Collage Trio (choose pattern trio A or B and select one of the 3 patterns to complete in the class)
- One meter Steam a Seam 2 Lite (1 metre included in class fee) (more may be needed)
- To finish the project, but not required at the time of the class – you will need batting, backing fabric and binding fabric
