Learn To Sew: Level 2 - Zip It French Seam Pouch
Class Description
Continue on your sewing journey, learning boxed corners, french seams and of course, zipper installtion! The Zip It Pouch is unlined, using french seams to seal in raw edges. Perfect for storing make-up, sewing, or knitting supplies, this flat bottom zippered pouch is extremely versatile!
Warning: This project is highly addictive, you'll be making one for everyone you know in no time!

Supply List
- Sewing Machine with zipper foot and all-purpose foot (bring your manual and all accessories just in case)
- Basic sewing kit including thread snips, straight pins or Wonder Clips, and seam ripper
- Cotton or polyester thread to match exterior fabric (we sell Wonderfil brand)
- Frixion pen/marker, chalk pencil or other temporary marking tool
- #90/14 needle for your machine
- Fabric Scissors
Included in class fee:
- Exterior Fabric – 1 fat quarter
- Interfacing
- Zipper by the metre & zipper pull
- Zip It Pouch Pattern (included in the class cost)
