Quilts for Survivors

Quilts For Survivors is an organization that provides residential school survivors and those affected by trauma with full-sized quilts, handcrafted by sewists and quilters across Canada.

Quilts for Survivors

The efforts of Quilts For Survivors are backed by generous donations that support costs of logistics and materials. Their quilts are a symbol of support, respect, and love.

Founded in Timmins, Ontario, Quilts For Survivors has a sewing studio where they sew donated blocks to make full quilts, send out finished quilts to survivors, and share stories.

Embellish has partnered with the Port Hope Chamber of Commerce, the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce, and the Cobourg Lion's Club to bring this charity event to fruition.
